Our Philosophy

Remember when you would watch your Mom get ready for a wedding or reception party?  You’d see her open her suitcase, because all Indian women use to, and my Mom still does, keep their special occasion suits and sari’s in a suitcase.  I guess in the event there was a fire you could grab it and go!  In order to decide she would pull a few pieces out.  I remember looking across at the colourful display of fabrics and patterns, thinking they were so incredibility beautiful, the textures, the hand embroidered details, and borders.  I use to feel so excited about being part of a culture so rich in tradition and beauty.  And today, I still do.  This inspiration is what led me to create Paisley Paper Prints.
